A zine that tells the story of the arpilleristas of Chile, a group of women who came together to create textile representations of their emotions and experiences during the Chilean dictatorship.
This publication was created as part of the residencies at La Gilda Laboratori Gràfic (a Silkscreen Studio in Valencia, Spain). Over the course of a year, with the theme of “community,” six individual zines and one collective zine were produced by six artists. We also hosted several events that invited the artistic community and the local neighborhood to observe our process and collaborate on creative projects.
